Now they use the house and the place as an event center. But you can also camp there for 100 Peso for 2 Persons and a campervan per night (February 2020) and could use the bathrooms and the outdoor showers in front of the the bathroom building. (To refresh during the day we also used the water tubes for the gardening which are everywhere around). You can also use the garden which is covered with bright green grass! And the palapa in front of the garden.

We were the only guests, stayed here for 11 days. Also the beautiful wild and clean beach is very lonesome (unfortunately not to swim because of rough waves and rocks. About 1-2 km in the east there is a beach where you can swim in front of a hotel).
Telcel signal a few meters up the path behind the wooden huts (no signal at the parking lot).
Some restaurants near by. A few grocery stores are about 6 km in Santa Elena El Tule (huge choice of vegetables and fruits).

The place is very wet. Fog all day long. Frogs as well!
Access to the spot is like mountain road. Lot of hard turns.

We paid 10.900 for a double room with sea view. Breakfast was not included/available.

We've been alone after 7pm. Sadly it was very windy and rainy. Next morning the weather was good again and Sunrise was bestiful.
Tables to eat breakfast. We left befor 9am.

Old hotel which has been just reopened. We could park directly in front of the hotel and the beach. Daniel and chef Sisay are very friendly. They are trying to give a new life to this place which was closed for several years. They let us use a room for shower and toilet but it was very basic. We paid 100k Lle per night

Owner speaks english, very friedly, good prices in lubricants, also sold us gas-cartridges 227g for 170 pesos

The campground is clean and quiet. Showers are not very hot. Without toilet seats and paper it is definetly too expensiv. Costs 150 ARP pp and 200 ARP for motorhome.

We stayed at this place for one night, arrived late and a bit tired. The owner was very friendly and helpful, when we could not fit with our truck camper even wanted to cut branches. He allowed us to park in the driveway for one night. The next morning he asked 80.000 for the parking (2 adults plus 4 kids). We did not use electricity, nor did the wifi or the showers work ( due to a water shortage which is not their fault). The toilets did not have toilet paper, the grounds are ok and safe but nothing beautiful. We argued down to 50.000 but felt a bit ripped off. Ok plnightnight. The next day he asked 80.000 Pesos. We did not use electricity night,

Easy aceess and a great view to the sea lions. We saw many of them, mostly females, a couple of males and many juvelines. They were both sunbathing and diving into the sea.

Hard scramble up Cerro Meghan to an amazing view over Valley hermosa. 4 years on the road and two weeks in this amazing park, it has been a highlight of our journey. If you make it here good luck, add some rocks to the carines we made to mark the way

They still speak some English and they have drinking water and a hose to fill up your tanks!

... even in holiday season we could stay here with our motorhome. We asked the security, no camping, no tents, but sleeping in the car is ok. Nearby

there's another place in town that can fill your bottle. ask here or at the ferreteria

This was hands down the best meal we had in our month long trip through Patagonia and Chile. True farm to table food right here in the Chiloe area. Don’t miss it. Staff is amazing.

Very nice place, Telma the owner is very sweet. Restaurant is open only around noon and it is good. Showers were hot when we went there which is always great. Beach is made of shells so having shoes is a plus. The dogs were friendly with ours so that’s good. Would recommend.

we tried to go on the parking of the Mirador but it was full (around 10pm). so we decided to go on a little street almost in front. there are a lot of cars passing on the road 5 and a lot of people come and go to see the Mirador. not quiet at all, but okay for one night as we needed to be in Castro.

Lovely spot to camp by the stream. Beautiful in the early morning light . The roofed area was great when it rained. Still 5 U$ pp, kids paid 4 each.

We enjoyed it. Road was fine for us - it is is made of broken stone.
As others have said you can always check if you are not sure . Tall rigs may hit some trees on way down but can perhaps park at a different spot but would lose the charm of the stream and the utility of the roofed area.

Noisy and dusty place to stay because of all trafic behind but calm between 8pm and 7am.
Full of mosquitos when Sun goes down.

Lovely hotel with good size rooms, some with terrace, and a large parking area - we had a ground floor room and parked our motorcycle right outside our door where we could keep an eye on it. Hot water with fantastic water pressure. TV with CNN (English) news. Restaurant which was closed on the Sunday we were there but opened for breakfast (extra charge). Small outdoor seating area. Everything very well maintained (western style) and was a welcome stay after crossing from Panama at Rio Sereno. Paid 26000 colones for a double room without breakfast. Quite a few eating places in town and a good supermarket 100m away.

Nice place. Wifi wasn't strong, but with a little pool. Quit at night at the lower terrace.

Did not stay here overnight. Stayed at the mirador (outside the city). BUT we did the tour with yordy and can recommend it to 100 %. You get a very local view and avoid the big touristic boats. You support the locals from Uros and not the agencies from Puno.

Deep sand and very busy at times. Good spot for a day trip.

Pulled in late. Parking lot had No Camping/Overnight signs, so we parked along the fence and left early.

Hotel was great. 900/p per night for 2 people with 2 beds plus a 1000/p deposit for pet. Secure parking for any sized vehicle. Easy walk to down town shops/restaurants.

Flat space at Trail Junction multiple rig capable about three fire rings.

Great home-made-beer and really nice atmosphere. Interesting modern menu with local fish, pizza, wraps, sandwiches and tasty pasta (we had sorrentinos and tallarines for 350ARS each). Very recommendable!
