This is a small gravel parking area at the east end of 1/2 mile long Crescent Beach, which is a municipal beach. It is in a village location and there are houses around, but the beach is clean,wide long and beautiful.

This is a high point at the intersection of 2 forest service roads. The views in all directions are quite amazing. There is a small campfire ring but mostly it's just a spot to overnight I'd think. We had excellent Verizon service here.

Small, clean boondocking site good for one night and a day at the beach. Walk into the village for groceries, pharmacy or mail.

the location icon in the map is not in the right place. You need to drive past where the marker is and and follow the blue signs for the campsite.

Dirt road located in the Shasta Forrest. I brought a RWD van up here with no problems in the spring. Would probably not head up here with 2WD in any rain/snow as it’s semi sandy scree. You will need high clearance on your vehicle as there are a free exposed rocks. There are many forks in the road and from what I’ve explored on my bike there are plenty of spots to park and tent as well as flat spots to car camp. It was quiet minus a few passing trains in the night. Woke up to incredible views of Shasta and the sound of birds. T-mobile/Sprint Friendly.

Sign states no overnight camping and paid parking at other times.

Awesome breakfast and lunch! The Mine tour was so amazing and educational.

They welcome camping behind the building. Stayed here during the pandemic and was the only vehicle in the lot day and night, totally silent and slept like a baby.

At the front of the Manti Landromat is a water tap. A local said if any taps are running from a building, then they’re likely safe to drink. Works for us.

This place is very nice to spend a night. There is clean showers for 5R, many place where you park your car or your van. There is a Shelter with light in the parking for car, and also a wifi special for the parking, so no need to stay in the restaurant. The workers are also very nice and kind. Snack place and restaurant. Is a good place to make a stop on the road.

C'est un bon endroit où passer la nuit. Beaucoup de choix pour ce garer. Au parking pour voiture il y a des toiles au dessus pour avoir de l'ombre ainsi qu'un wifi special pour le parking voiture sans mot de passe qui fonctionne très bien! Les douches sont a 5 Riel mais très propres et les toilettes également. Le personnel est très sympa. C'est un bon endroit pour faire un stop sur la route contrairement a d'autre station ou on prie pour ne rien toucher tellement c'est sale 😅

Drive back and you’ll find MANY dirt spots after the National Forest sign. This spot in particular has a pit toilet, picnic table, large level spot, and good Verizon signal. Close to a river so you’ll enjoy the sound of water at night. We love this spot!!

this is the first spot on the right of kitchen Creek road off sunrise highway that you can camp. this spot fits about 2-3 vehicle's. great views nice and quiet in the late afternoon and evening. Cars, vans, and smaller RV's would fit.

Kind of an odd spot. We made it in here with our 28' Class A, but I wouldn't suggest it for anything bigger. Lots of dirt bikes and ATVs use the area, but it was surprisingly quiet during Memorial Day Weekend. Stayed two nights. Totally peaceful overnight. Great T-Mobile signal.

Check the wind forecast.. Beautiful views, but the wind was pretty terrible..

Amazing place and prior info and directions were just right!! Perfect spot to camp in our VW bus.

Wild camping near the river and Targu Mures town

Came here earlier in the evening to scope it out and came back to settle in just after 11. As I was using the restroom in the south lot, a truck was going around honking and closing the gates. She closed the gates to the north lot and everything in the south lot except for a row of parking spaces where you could drive through it. I ended up moving to the street just south of the lot and parked on it, just before the bend. No other problems, and woke up to see the sunrise. By 630, those gates we're back unlocked.

Not sure if she would force you out if you were already settled on, or let you be "stuck" all night, but the road worked fine, and the middle lame in the south lot would work with in and out access as well.

Free camping in Buchanan State Forest. You can see all of the clearings by viewing the Forest in Google Maps satellite view. Many options to choose from. This is my favorite as it’s totally hidden from the road and completely private.

Came here on May 23rd 2020 and the campsites are closed due to Covid-19. Otherwise looks like a decent place to camp.

end of the Forest Road. There are plenty of campsites along the Forest Road but every one of them was full. I think I got the best spot. Only downside is you will have people turning around in front of your site.

Amazing place to hunker down for the night. It's close to town, but quiet and above it all. You've got spectacular views of Pocatello.

I fit a 26' class A up there without any problem. I wouldn't do much bigger.

A few things to note:
* There are signs saying that overnight camping is prohibited. It wasn't enforced.
* The last 1/2 mile is dirt washboards, 5mph.
* Mtn bikers and hikers show up in the morning.

Forest service land, free camping, up to 14 day stay. Site is off dirt road west of strawberry reservoir. Rock fire pit. Spot can hold 4 vehicles. Site is next to atv trail surrounded aspen trees. Worth the venture.

Great spot, easy access, fire pit and fire wood. Some noise from people shooting at quarry close by but stopped late afternoon. Could fit a couple of smaller vehicles easily.
