15,000CFA for a room for 3 people. Don't expect anything special about the place itself. Small, cramped, but the neighborhood is exceptional. Beautiful river, nearby town with stores and police station. If you were too late in Contabane this place is ideal to sleep over and continue to Quebe - from there take the motorcycles to Guinea Conakry.

The place hasn’t changed from reviews in 2019. Somehow they charge 25k for rooms which is way too much, would only stay in rooms in last-resort.

I camped for 7k, haggled from 15k. Camping is fine but they’ll try charge for food etc. Electricity not working, they didn’t tell me til after I paid lol. The only plus is Abdou, super kind junior employee.

Went there to enquire about camping in our 4x4 with roof tent, nobody really gave us a straight answer for ages. Then a boy said the cost was 7,000 CFA for a night and told us to wait an extra five minutes. Waited for a bit but decided it wasn’t for us. Place looked run down and generator was noisy plus the staff didn’t really seem bothered about having us. Good spot by the waterfalls though.

Report Check-In

We would not recommend this place, but chance is high you will not have another option... the nearby wild camping spot is the only good alternative; it is a great spot! Price of the room is way to high for what it offers. Although a working airco can be delightful. This is a run down place with hardly any atmosphere. Staff is not really interested in what they are doing. Watch out on the pricing; ask everything upfront. Otherwise your breakfast gets charged on top of the room and two glasses of wine will cost you CFA 6.000!

Good location, semi friendly staff who aren't around much. Geni kicked in at dark and we were served a fantastic dinner. Rooms are okay but test to see how noisy the beds are. We paid 25k for 2 with breakfast.

So, they couldn’t care less! The noisy generator never kicked in. Pitch black from sun down. The staff were indifferent to say the least. It’s in such a great spot overlooking the water & the roar of the falls it could be amazing. Instead it’s not good. What it does offer is a great start/location for anyone wanting to ride motorbike to Guinnea. Left at 10am & back on tarmac for 5pm.
The restaurant here does not exist anymore either.

There are also very clean rooms available were we slowed to go in for a shower.

There is now a new very friendly owner at this place and she hopfully will do some maitanance. so this will be a very nice place in future where you can also go for a swim into the river.

Report Check-In

They have friendly staff, warm beer, no soft drinks, and no power or water for 2 out of 3 days we were there. you could walk down to the rocks for a nice view of the waterfall and bridge. The tourist camp is close to a few villages for some bread in the morning walking distance. no menu, just chicken.
