Something not right?

Description

Camping with cold showers and clean toilet. Good security. Shade. Wonderful view over the River Gambia with cooling breezes. Handy for village shops and bar and restaurant. We stayed in a bungalow for the following night. Camping was 300 dalassi and a bungalow was 600 dalassi for two.

Bungalow for 2 is 1000 dalasi, good breakfast 300 pp. It is actually more like bungalow area, but you can park or pitch a tent at like the parking area, or pitch a tent anywhere around the camp, there is space and toilets with shower. There's not much in the village besides a monument and small musem, but it is ok for a stay for one night here. No generator running at night. Receptionist is what made our stay

Report Check-In

nice place, 300 (€4.50) for one person in a tent

this is a fantastic place to relax. beautiful views of the river. I camped here in a tent absolutely fine. the noisy generator mentioned is at the other end of the compound near the car parking spaces.
super peaceful. highly recommended.

Report Check-In

they asked us to pay 300dalassi per night. We bargeand and got it for 150.
reasons were:
The place for the car to camp is not nice, more ore less a parking place
generator runs in the night up to 12 o clock or later. It is one of the dinosaur once. So sleeping while it runs is only possible if you're deaf. If you are not you will be after three nights
No water is in the pool.
no toilet and no shower. so we had to take the bathroom from a hut. what was not the badest option as this was fine.
we feel not secure here as we have to stand Direct at the gate witch was open the whole day and child's come in and out.....so we always have to take our stuff into the car when we leave it and when we were sitting there evrey 10min a hello hello kitty coming and asking for mints or money.
I closes the gate very often but everyone who comes in let it open...
So if you need privacy or a calm place do not camp here.
Better than take a hut for 800 dalassi.

The man who is in charge of the camp is very very friendly what makes us to stay here.
One truck will fit in here but not more.

Camping with cold showers and clean toilet. Good security. Shade. Wonderful view over the River Gambia with cooling breezes. Handy for village shops and bar and restaurant. Camping was made impossible because of the sound of the generator which came alive in the dark, so we stayed in a bungalow for the following night. Camping was 150 dalassi and a bungalow was 400 dalassi for two
