Description
Lots of trees and shade. Riverside bar and restaurant. Cold shower and clean toilet. Very accommodating female manager. We had all of these delights and necessities for absolutely free on condition that we ate at the excellent and inexpensive restaurant.

we stayed there one night in the car. well... it's a tourist place. and I felt like one. people are nice... but for us it was not the place to be. the offer good food and sell beer and other drinks. nothing wrong with that - still it somehow didn't feel good. we paid 400dal for camping.
Report Check-InLovely place, as described above. Got a lovely cool hut for 600 including breakfast. It is worth mentioning though that the huts have no electricity, which I had no problem with, but I couldn't charge my phone anywhere on the campsite.
Report Check-InThere are many vervet monkeys to observe there. A dream!
The people are extremely friendly. We stood there for free, were able to use a shower and toilet in a hut and ate on the terrace with a wonderful view.
The place is highly recommended.

we didn't like the boat trip with the captain (Ibrahim).. he has rush and stopper only few minute for see the chimps and we went away when they were still there!!! and also he said the wrong time of the public boat for visit Island just Beacause he want we take his boat...the rest of the staff was lovely.
Perfect if you want to stay in the nature, lots of monkeys and birds around. There are many bungalows at a very good price, that are cool inside, no A/C needed. The owner and the stuff are exceptionally kind and welcoming. Also, they organize boat trips to see hippos at a much better price than what I was offered on the island. All in all, the best experience I have had in Gambia.
