Nice bushcamp under big trees, close to the Dittin stream. Good place to spend the night. during the day you have a great place at the Dittin falls. Only 20 min. walk trough the budh along a well maintained track. For the camp: Speak only to Mohamed. he is the owner and will organize a guide or locals who will go to the village and buy stuff for you. All people who want to help you are not responsable for the camp. Camping is 100'000 GF for 2 people and vehicel (70'000 for Camping & Security during the day, 30'000 for the community fund). Guiding & Service for food support is directly negotiable with the locals. the locals are very friendly only trying to get some money all the time. But you can handle them easely. unfortunatrly we coult not see the chimpanzees there but we heard them making noise close by.

Campement open although camping for large vehicles is outside the gate under a big tree. One hut available (2 persons) and second under repair (3 persons?). Pit toilet also under repair and all should be done in two weeks or so. Road to campement is under major upgrade with wide road bulldozed and culverts being made. Slow but easy going with the Unimog, longer vehicles may struggle with two temp deviations but will be best road in district; when it is done. Paid 50k GNF for two plus truck, he said 50k pp for use of hut. Washing is in the river.

Path to waterfall is well maintained and easy self guided walk. Water in pool below falls is freezing/refreshing depending on how brave you are.

We drove there from Pita and then on to Dalaba. Road from Pita to Dittin has rough bits but generally better than Dittin to Dalaba.

The track to access to the site is not easy but we did manage with our 3,50 m high and 6,00 m long camper.
There is a fence and a ward. They wanted 200 000 GNF for overnighting and acces to the waterfalls. We negociated for 100 000 GNF. Fee is OK because they have to keep the path to the chutes free.
Nice place for camping under a beautiful neem tree.

We passed by here on the way to the waterfall, it looked a little abandoned. Some of the huts were destroyed, and the two others not destroyed I don’t know in which condition are inside. None around. But you can probably camp. On the 6km walk from the village to here someone we crossed with asked us to pay a ticket, after sometime discussing,
(he didn’t had any receipt or paper ticket etc..), he said “the ticket is not obligatory” and we walked away. He just wanted some money, there’s no real entry ticket.

Great spot, tight little road to get in, big rigs doubtful. Surrounded by guys insisting we pay for a guide to the falls, pay a tax for the falls, pay for parking, pay for camping, pay someone to guard the vehicle.... After much debate and arguing we went to falls without a guide and later spoke to owner - a quiet man. We paid 100,000GF for two people in one of the basic huts and that was for everything. Waterfall spectacular!
