Nice campground with fire pit, table and restrooms surrounded by forest. Gorgeous lake close by.
20USD/day. Many spots supporting all sorts of RV sizes, but it seems it is quite busy specially during the weekend.
No hookups.

$20 dollars per night can be paid by credit card now using a totem/kiosk at the paying station. Cash also accepted using envelopes. No phone reception in any carrier. Site #4 has good sun light for my solar panels. Busy on al sunny weekend but very quiet next monday. Beautiful lake, no mosquitos even when everywhere else in Alaska seems to have a million of them.

Reading about this CG I had very high expectations. Was a bit disappointed but I guess it has to do with where we were coming from, beautiful BC and Yukon, Haines Alaska.
The lake was low and had a significant bathtub ring. The CG was very busy prior to 4 th July weekend and some double sites pretty loud. The sites are nice, non by the lake. It is nice to have trails right there.
Bathrooms were dirty.
I do not have to return here but could see that it is attractive for families from Anchorage.

Nice campsite well maintained, next to gorgeous lake. Guessing 30 plus sites, no power. Firewood supposedly can be purchased but not when we were here. Toilets Clean and ok. Peaceful sites, tent areas, for vehicles on black top, not crowded but could get that way by July. Worth it for the lake, nice drive into Park too.

Drive in camps closed end of September. Overflow camp sites open. You can drive up to them but no hook ups. $20USD per night. Very clean and quiet.

Many spots — some double spaces, some single — all with fire pits and tables. We stayed in spot #24 which was right near pit toilets. Did not seem super buggy when we were here surprisingly. Payment system is paid with depositing cash in an envelope so make sure you have some on you before coming, receipt from envelope goes on camp spot post. sites now $20USD/night. Most spot pretty level. Saw some baby moose too!

Report Check-In

Beautiful lake views with a trail or road that brings you there from the campground. We car camped and ended up in one of the spots with a neighbor directly next to us. Not terrible but you certainly don’t have as much privacy as weld camping. There was potable water and pit toilets throughout.
