Beautiful tropical garden right on the shores of Lake Kivu. They have double and triple rooms for 80 USD and 100 USD respectively. Breakfast is included. Rooms are okay, but don't expect much.
Camping is possible in the garden for 10 USD pppn. The area is relatively flat.
For RTTs the only option is the gravel parking lot upstairs which is not very nice.

This place is now an upmarket hotel. Beautifully situated on the waterfront. Quiet, away from the crowded village. Prices are USD 80 pppn and up. Only double rooms. Depending on the season, prices can be negotiated down a little.

We wanted to camp here after receiving a recommendation from friends. We arrived after dark, and the steep road into the place was under construction. The whole lodge was under construction. There was confusion and the guy in charge told us it was $50 to camp. After we turned to leave he said we could camp for $20pp(so 40). It was too expensive and we got the impression he was making the prices up. We went to stay somewhere else.

Beautiful garden directly at lake, quiet, we had to stand in the parking lot with our truck, very good restaurant with African food, very friendly host and stuff, you have to negotiate price; 20 USD / 1 car, 2 persons pn
