Description
A large open space amidst the trees on the southern end of the lakeside recreation of Laguna de Gomez in the town of Junin. There are at least three official campgrounds here but since it was off season and no one seemed to be around we preferred to camp in our Kombi in the park on the southern end. There are parillas, trash cans, and bathrooms with running water. No showers. The lake is beautiful and overall it's a very calm and quiet place to camp. Again off season so it may not be permitted to camp here during high season but for us it was free and no one bothered us!

Report Check-InThe police came by at 11pm and told us we had to leave. There were other 2 motorhomes with us. They said that camping was not allowed, that we needed to pay a camping. It's off season and they still kicked us off.
Report Check-In... even in holiday season we could stay here with our motorhome. We asked the security, no camping, no tents, but sleeping in the car is ok. Nearby

Report Check-InVery nice place but in high season and on weekend you are calmer in camping (100 per person). Installation run down but clean. Hot shower from 6-12 pm. Although it is certainly possible to stay anywhere on the lakeshore free without problem.
