Recommended by a local. Parking along a city park about 1.5 Kilometers from the heart of the old town. Free relatively flat. No amenities except recycling at the end of the street. We came off season and emptied tanks and filled water at the campground, Campingplatz München-Thalkirchen, located south west of town for free.

Pure boon docking, we stayed just for the night. It was fine and for free.
Report Check-InLong parking strip along city park across the river and 30min walk to old town. Signs posted state parking is limited to 4 hours 0900-1800 on workdays and use of a parking disc is required. Violation is 20 euro. It’s a local spot but there are a few over lander vans here. Gets filled after working hours, even in December it was busy.
