The lady told us it’s possible to register yourself online (eimmigration.mn). We got an error, so she registered us anyway. Took maybe 10 minutes each, no waiting. She said that our visa was now valid for 90 days, but we didn’t get any papers/confirmation. No fee. No English, but fine with google translator.
Report Check-InGot the registration and 30-day extension sorted in one day. 224,100 MNT in total for two persons (Dutch passports), to be paid at the Golomt bank across the square. Handed in passphotos and a letter describing why we want an extension. We had the letter printed at the photo shop with the Fuji sign on the other side of the square, but there are plenty of other copy shops around. (Fixed the location.)
