Spent 2 nights here during our 4 day tour through Turkmenistan. Not the hotel I would chose but we have no choice in this country. Outside and reception look nice but the rooms are ancient Soviet. Mattress and shower were good though.

WiFi works great but all socials incl. WhatsApp are blocked by the government (vpn won't work either). Plenty of room for parking, big rigs go 20 meters further near the circus.

Tumar café around the corner has decent food (don't try the fancy options like filet mignon or T-bone steak etc as they will overcook it for sure) for decent prices and beer for only 15 manat ($0,75). You can change dollars to manat ($1 to 19 manat) at the cafe next door (Uzum cafe).

We spent 2 nights here. Saturday was super noisy, Sunday was better, but we still couldn’t sleep well. Maybe it’s better during the week. We paid for shower etc. 20 TMT, but it could be possible for free. Uzum café is great for breakfast (100TMT for 2), Tumar pub good for a dinner. Budget meals nearby at Café Cirk (by the circus), beer garden Berk around the corner.

Really cool place to park your car. Everything was free: parking, shower, swimming pool, use of toilet. Just ask politely at the reception. We stayed 2 nights and felt really safe and welcomed. We got voucher for wifi, but didn’t work. We asked for wifi password at nearby pub. We used bus to get to the centre (0.5 manat/ride), but you can also walk.
The beer garden behind circus is ok for beer, do NOT eat there, it’s tasteless. The place for breakfast across the street is amazing, supermarket also handy.

We could not believe that it is possible to park your car (and sleep in it) in front of a hotel for free. But it is! The staff welcomed us friendly and offered the use of toilets and the pool (with hot showers). We really do not know why they do it but it made our visit in Ashgabat a very convenient one.

Single room 80$, double 120$. Only USD accepted, but can pay with cash, visa or mastercard. Incl pool, wifi, breakfast.

Building also hosts German embassy

stayed 2 nights for free, toilets nice, pool still closed, well stacked supermarket just across the street
and 'walking distance' to the city, Russ Bazar, Tekke Bazar,...
nice staff. almost forgot to mention
'camping'??? pls park over there,...
and then he showed me the toi facilities,...

Very friendly and safe. We can recommend the breakfast in Üzüm right across the street. 105 TMT for 2 person. The beer of the beergarden behind the circus is quiet tasty as well.

Very expensive looking. We spent a few days before it in our car. We looked a little out of place with our Car. Very safe.

We expected a small cheap hotel, but it’s huge and 90’s classy 😮! We felt kinda out of place with our muddy Defender ;). All staff is really helpful and friendly and it’s a good safe campspot. There are two nice restaurants to the left of the hotel.

Great place to stay for a few days and see ashgabat. It's free and are able to use restrooms day and night.

Very friendly hotel reception said we could also park under the trees across from hotel which was further away from the music, but at night police asked us to move, apparently because the next day was Cycle Day, which meant the whole city closed for cars 7am-7pm! So we had to leave the city at 6am. It’s only every couple of months, but if you want to leave on a Sunday like us, better check or you could be stuck an extra day. We moved to right side of hotel, also away from music.
Could use hot shower at pool for free.
Changed money for 17,5 manat for 1 euro. Hotel gives 4. You will be approached to change at some point. If not, wander around the bazaar. But hushhush. Keep in mind that it’s difficult to change your leftover manat back into usd or euro.
Btw nice cheap beer garden behind the circus building!

parked in front of the hotel but could park inside also. Don't change money at reception! There is a vivid black market where you can get 17 manat/$ instead of 3.5. Ask doorman/porter for advice or wander around Russian Bazaar. Nearby market has everything you missed in Iran ;-)

We stay two night in the parking of this hotel. They are nice.
Park car it s free ( no shower, toilet ok). If you want a room you have to pay in dollars ( every hotel don t accept mannat for room), it s 80$ so expensive .Breakfast is 53 mannat or 15$( don t pay in $ because in black market you can have 1$=21 mannat and in hotel they use the official rate 1$=3,5mannat)!!
The breakfast is not very good.
They have two computer, you can use it for free! If you want internet is 4 mannat one day.

Safe place to stay. The music of the Night club / Restaurant is very loud. But only till 10pm. Night is quite.

Good place to stay for free and save. But everything else is expensive (breakfast, disco, shower). Do not change money here! They change for 3,5 - but you can get 12 Manat per dollar. Internet is slow and be aware that some things like what's app are filtered.

We stayed on the parking lot for free. We were even allowed to use the swimming pool. The hotel has a restaurant where you can have breakfast or dinner. In the pool area you can eat as well. And they have showers there. The hotel is close to the city center. At night it was a bit noisy due to the traffic, but for us it wasn't a problem.
