Latest Check-Ins
Seeing the crater at night is a fantastic experience. The road to the crater is very sandy however and we did not dare to drive there ourselves (2wd). We paid a local Turkmen to take us on his motorbike and camped by the crater in our own tent. Agree on a price beforehand. We ended up paying 10$, out and home, but you can probably haggle a lower rate. We parked our car at the drivers Yurt.
