4x4 NECESSARY! Beautiful sand beach at the end of the off road with no amenities. To get to the beach you'll definitely need 4x4 and shovel for the worst case (we needed it). We spent a great day alone at the beach. Please take your trash with you when you leave!
*turn at the white post and follow the fence line - the track that looks like it leads to the gps coordinates is a dead end. (For a better idea of where the beach is look at 29.74379, -114.33655 )
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
As described, quiet section of beach between two other camp communities. I've been here twice this year, a breeze from the desert each night but nothing to bother me. I definitely recommend it, needed 4wd to get over the dune and on the beach.
Report Check-InWe pulled off and camped about 3/4 of the way down the track to the beach (just before the end of the barbed wire fence). Sand was too soft for our liking and we didn’t feel like airing down or risking getting stuck. Not a soul in sight & the beach was lovely - just a few minutes walk from where we stopped. The track we took was just north of the GPS coordinates provided, not sure if it was correct but worked out for us nonetheless.
Report Check-InNice spot on the beach. Very windy when we visited and there was zero protection from the wind. The drive to the gas station / store / taco stand isn’t terrible.
Report Check-InAmazing spot to camp…follow the main dirt road as if your heading toward punta Final. We took what seemed like a well traveled sandy road (if you turned at the road that is covered with ocotillos then you turned too early, take your next left when you can, it will be a sandy road) we deflated our tires and had no problems. Beautiful beach with sand and some rocks, and a few pieces of driftwood, enough to have a small fire to cook our dinner!
Report Check-InNice quiet and level spot, sandy 4x4 only track in, nobody bothered us.
Report Check-InLike the OP said. Nice site. We aired down and used 4x4 last section. Google GPS leads you 500ft past the left to the beach
Report Check-InGreat beach camping by the beach. You do need 4X4. We went to punta final privet property but it was full. We paid 250 pesos per car,
Report Check-InI did not visit it. I was researching this area and saw this tag and when I went to read it, the photos show it to be on a beach, but the gps coordinates are well inland.
