No sign here, so we're trying it out tonight. Road is loud, but the sunset was amazing and overall this is a nice spot to relax. One other van here tonight.
We had one person lay on the horn while driving by around 10:30, otherwise traffic noise wasn't too bad, but white noise and/or earplugs would be helpful.

Spent one night, great spot. As stated no “No Overnight “ signs.
Got here about 4:pm. Some cars and beach walkers. Before sunset the beach walkers left. Me, an RV and another Van were here all night. Not much noise, great sunset and no hassles.

Really sweet spot to spend the night. Pulled in early enough to watch the sunset, at that point the only other cars were people stopping for a photo. Otherwise we were alone until just after dark when two other car campers pulled up. Some road noise into the night but not too bad and it quieted down eventually (this was on a Friday night). Really nice to wake up and open the doors to the ocean :) would stay here again!

beautiful sunset view and dark night sky filled with stars and a beautiful milkyway view over the water! two other overnighters there with us. we showed up just before sunset and left around 830am, no one bothered us. some road noise but also waves crashing. would stay again.

Report Check-In

Close to the road so noise to be expected, but you can’t beat the view. And in the night, it’s way more quiet and you can hear the waves. 100% recommend !

Beautiful! I was alone in a windy and rainy storm until I fell asleep and woke to beautiful sunshine and clouds with one van neighbor. Was not bothered at all and loved sleeping to the ocean sounds!

Several other vehicles here for the night. Road noise to be expected. Biker stopped, told us that camping wasn’t allowed despite no sign, got mad when we didn’t take his warning that sheriff would visit in the middle of the night to kick is out. We weren’t bothered by anyone else else all night.

Amazing place by the ocean! Close to the road, but we hear more the waves than the cars! Beautiful sunset!! 😁

No problem spending the night. Light traffic noise. Wonderful ocean noise.

Spelling corrections from my post. The "post", not the past is still there where a prohibition sign once hung. Again, might or might not be enforced. Worth a try.

This one's iffy. No sign posted stating "No Camping", but the past where one was (probably). It's daytime now and I'll be back tonight. I'll determine then if I'll stay. Probably no problem at all, but I wanted to post the latest info.

This is a good spot. Rather noisy because, Friday. Traffic settled down before midnight and not too much until 8:00.
Three vehicles here for the overnight and still plenty of room.

Report Check-In

got there at sunset and it's absolutely gorgeous. one other campervan and it's close to the road but it's not too busy.

Report Check-In

Decent spot to sleep for a night. Maybe some of the locals don't like people staying here though. We heard a couple of horns honking before 7pm. Quiet for the rest of the night though.

Report Check-In

no signs prohibiting overnight parking although there is one sign that said no overnight camping further down the road. nice relatively level pull out overlooking the beach. good for a one-night stop. I came through during the day so I didn't stay but I would definitely come back here if I needed to.

Great view of the ocean! Lots of road noise, but it's just a pull off so it's expected. Around 5a.m.someone drove past us and honked for a good while, but other than that it was a good night's sleep.

As the previous post mentions, there aren’t actually any “NO” signs at this pullout. It’s a large, flat, gravel parking area with plenty of room for about a dozen vehicles. There’s some road noise that dies down at night but picks back up bright and early. Lovely spot to watch a beautiful sunset with easy beach access.
I spent a very peaceful night here except one minor incident - it was just after dark, probably around 9pm, and some jerk pulled off the road and stopped right behind me. After shining their headlights in my back windows for a few minutes, they screeched off spinning out their tires and trying (unsuccessfully) to spray my van with gravel. I was ready to bail and try somewhere else if they came back or anything else happened, but thankfully it was all quiet after that. Hopefully it was just one of those freak things, but I did want to share my experience since it was a bit unsettling, especially as a solo female.

Several vehicles here. Post where a no camping sign might have been is there, but there is NO "no camping" sign in this place. Lightly traveled highway, so not a lot of road noise. Being really sleepy usually takes care of road noise for me. Decent place to spend the night. Great place to park and enjoy the ocean for the day.

Stayed here with a few other vans. No problems. Quiet at night. There IS a sign that says no overnight camping. But we didn’t see it until this morning.

Good roomy gravel pullout right on the edge of the beach. Beach access through a few easy trails heading down through some driftwood piles. Loud in the evening and morning, but quiet through the night. Stayed for one night. Good cell service on all major carriers.

Report Check-In

A gravel lot as well as a dirt are to park parallel on along the road.
Road traffic dies down and it was very quiet at night for me. Woke up to the waves crashing and not a person around. Great little spot.
