Something not right?

Description

Very quiet and safe place right at the beach. We asked if we could stay overnight next to the casa in a sandy parking lot. Some shade from the palm trees here. Stayed for 5 nights for free. Saw few local fishermen and families, everyone was very friendly. You can rent a palapa for 100 pesos a day. Be careful not to park too far and get stuck in the sand.

What a beautiful place! Truly a diamond! We stay more than two weeks in total. They have a big palapa wich you sometimes have to share with others but that didn’t bother us. Most of the time we’ve been here alone on a beautiful long beach. Around the corner there is a more crowded beach where all the restaurants are (3min walk). Meanwhile they have wifi here wich is sometimes fast and sometimes slow, but overall good. No cell reception otherwise. 100pesos per person. The dogs around bark at you first but after a few minutes they will hang out with you, they became good friends with our 5 months old puppy. Friendly locals around, we never felt unsafe here! You can also rent rooms here.

When you get to the end of the road following the GPS instructions below, turn right and drive all the way until you see a yellow building with a very green lawn. See pics. Here you can ask to stay. We paid 100 pesos each to pitch a tent and use the bathroom and outside showers. Very clean and well maintained area. There are several restaurants lined up on the beach along with a small market. It was lovely there, as long as you don’t mind friendly barking dogs.

Now they use the house and the place as an event center. But you can also camp there for 100 Peso for 2 Persons and a campervan per night (February 2020) and could use the bathrooms and the outdoor showers in front of the the bathroom building. (To refresh during the day we also used the water tubes for the gardening which are everywhere around). You can also use the garden which is covered with bright green grass! And the palapa in front of the garden.
Still to park in the sandy lot a described by Laura&Taavet.
We were the only guests, stayed here for 11 days. Also the beautiful wild and clean beach is very lonesome (unfortunately not to swim because of rough waves and rocks. About 1-2 km in the east there is a beach where you can swim in front of a hotel).
Telcel signal a few meters up the path behind the wooden huts (no signal at the parking lot).
Some restaurants near by. A few grocery stores are about 6 km in Santa Elena El Tule (huge choice of vegetables and fruits).
