Lovely spot just outside San Salvador in El Valle Sagrado. You can park in the car park next to the church with a spectacular view down over the river and valley. Height restriction on entry of approximately just under 3m.
There are toilets, a restaurant, a small shop and a water fountain here also. Google says the gate is supposed to close at 6pm but we were here well after this and it was still open.
We didn't stay the night, just for the sunset, but if you get kicked out there are numerous grassy verges on the road up here where you could stay and they seemed safe.
