Description

The bad stretch of road starts here with mud and a shallow river crossing, we had to go through the field a bit to avoid the deep mud. Coming from the north-east going south-west, turn left after you crossed the river, the road showing straight will take you nowhere and we got badly stuck and needed help to get out from some kind locals, don’t trust the navigation and ask more otherwise a beautiful road to drive until this point, from here on there seems to be no more real road and only smaller tracks to follow and crossing many dry or slow running shallow rivers, difficult at times with 4x4 needed quite often but it is after heavy rains last week.

Latest Check-Ins

From Bukundi to Mangola.
The main road is not passable st the beginning of the rainy season because of a big river crossing. A local biker drove us 7km south of Bukundi where a trail starts. another biker led us to Matala... would have been impossible by ourself, too many trails. Mapy.cz has some of them in its database but i don't guarantee 😅 East of Matala the road is in good conditions. Great landscape!
