Honestly not as bad as its reputation. Sure it's not great but it's not ~catastrophic~ either ;) Paid a very specific 16,800 CFA per night for a room with a fan, breakfast included. If you want some food the owner can order some. The room is old and rundown but bedsheets were clean. Bathroom is very basic but water was flowing. A lot of mosquitoes in the bathrooms as there's no nets on the windows, I'd also advise having your own mosquito net. But nothing a bit of bug spray and a fliflop can't solve ;) The owner was a bit cold at first but relaxed when I asked my questions with a big smile (and in French). I was able to find a taxi to go see the big mosque. Overall an OK place for a night or two !

Spent a night here to visit Touba and the mosque. At first ok impression. Rude and obnoxious lady says price is 10.000cfa (2 people + 4x4) with use of showers and toilets.
Go to take a shower (completely infested by mosquitoes and condoms on the floor of the alley) no water, one two three times they say it will be fixed but even the next morning no water so I tell her were not paying that amount just for parking our vehicle overnight in their backyard with cars coming and going in the rooms of this brothel (it really is).
Ended up paying 5.000cfa and it was more than what they can charge for.
Avoid if you can, pity it's the only option near Touba probably.

Camping at 6500cfa each. Round back by carpark / small row of rooms. Cars coming and going till approx 2am. Poss working rooms as previous review, and condom left on toilet windowsill. Animals started up from about 5am. Not a good night, but not much else available in the area.

camping is the parking yard behind the reception, 6500 CFA for 2people and rrt. bungalows available. shower and French toilet shared with occupants of small rooms (brothel?). sheep kept in shed in the yard. noisy mosque around. still okay for the night

Camping 8,000 CFA a night for 2 people & Roof top tent. Shower & Toilet at back of the premises but bring your can of insect killer to kill mosquitos before you drop you pants. Room available from 15,000 up per night. Liza & Jason
