Description

This was the last available site when I arrived at 3:30pm. I almost didn’t get it as I was exploring up further (which are by far the superior sites with more shade and near the creek). But I was too tired to find another spot. You park in the lot and then about 50feet in the bush is a nice spot for a tent and a big fire ring. If you have a van or big rig those would both fit perfectly And no need to set up a tent. Really great views. But ran into a few rattlesnakes trying to invade my campground. Close to the road so it can be loud at times..excited to watch the sunrise over the valley!

Arrived late at night. Off the 15, easy drive on gravel forest service road. Safe, quite, level site. Woke up to nice views.
