This is a small gravel parking area at the east end of 1/2 mile long Crescent Beach, which is a municipal beach. It is in a village location and there are houses around, but the beach is clean, wide long and beautiful.

This place is as described. The parking spot is right at the entrance to the beach so we had lots of dog walkers and locals coming by. Most were very friendly. There’s a bench and trash/ recycling there and it’s a short walk to the bank or the little grocery store. The view of the beach is wonderful and we spent one morning just wat hing dolphins play not too far out in the bay.
We spent two days which I think is about Max so we didn’t wear out our welcome. When locals asked if we were camping we just engaged in super friendly conversation etc and before you know it they are dispensing advice as to what we should see/ do in town.
Moments before we left an official looking guy in a “town of Lockeport “ truck pulled up. We thought he was going to ask us to move along but instead he told us how happy he was to see us using the parking space and exploring their town. He gave us each a town pin and wished us safe travels.
So go but don’t overstay your welcome and leave no trace!
Small, clean boondocking site good for one night and a day at the beach. Walk into the village for groceries, pharmacy or mail.
