Tired campsite with viewing area. Right next to Mole Hotel and free use of pool, bar and restaurant. Ablutions block. Very peaceful. Best of both worlds.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice campsite and NP. However BEWARE the baboons. They trashed my awning climbing and probably jumping all over it. I personally wouldn’t even leave a tent up - one sniff of food inside and I suspect they would tear it down.

Doesn't work all the time, but you can get it sometimes.
had 3 nights here. elephants, baboons, warthogs, bushbuck in the campsite. very good value safaris on foot or vehicle. I love it here. camping 50cedi pp.
Report Check-InStayed here for four days. Place is run down but we could use the pool of the motel next door. Safaris were nice. The toilet was not clean, we asked and they cleaned it up immediately.
Report Check-InWhen we arrived everything was very dirty and neglected. We spoke with the head of the ranger and he sent a person to clean up. In the afternoon we had a visit from 2 herds of monkeys (green and baboons), some antelope and finally 3 elephants. The night was quiet and we were able to sleep perfectly. We did the morning safari and the afternoon safari with our car. It is worth it for the price 12 Cd per hour pp but you don't see practically any animals (rainy season). In the evening we went to eat a very good pizza at the Mole Hotel. We asked for a wifi password and he didn't want to give it to us because it is only available for hotel guests.
Report Check-InAs described toilets and showers are not cleaned. But the campsite is quiet and you can meet elefants, monkeys, bush pigs... really enjoy to stay here. You have access to the pool where you can have a drink also don't miss the water whole at the view point where you can see the elefants swmming.
Price is 50 cedis per person per night.
If you want to camp inside the parc (one is 30km from the main campsite and the other one is 50km), you have to take a guide with you in the car. It costs 12 cedis per person per hour (we were 2 cars, 4 persons, we had 1 guide and payed 48 cedis per hour). They changed rules : you have to pay the guide all the time he stays with you, also the night. We left at 15h and came back the day after at midday,so 21 hours ×48 cedis. But it's totaly negociable. The road is ok for 4x4. But finaly not really interesting : most of the animals-elefants are around the water wholes close to the hôtel and campsite ! Also our guide was not really interested and interesting. Better to stay at the main campsite and just doing one of the loop (2 or 3 hours) around here with our without your car.
The toilets and shower are not clean at all but it doesn’t matter when you wake up seeing monkeys from the rooftop tent!
Please be careful with the baboons! They can be very stubborns and aggressive! You have to hold a stick in your hand and do as you are not afraid even if you are! They stole some of our clothes so if you see some baboons wearing fancy t-shirts tell them to give it back hahaha
Perfect place to stay if you come to visit the Mole Park.
We stayed one night, after doing the walk safari.
We paid 50 cedi pp
Toilets and Shower
Water to fill our tank
We were alone with warthog, monkeys and éléphant early morning !
Our favorite campsite in West Africa so far ! Completely run down, no water (and no toilets) during our stay but it is an amazing place anyway, really quiet and away from everything. It got cold at night so we made a campfire. We used the bathroom of the Park Office (400 m away). The officials are bored (you will most often find them sleeping under the big tree in front of the office) and not very friendly (suspicious of everything you do) but they dont go to the camp area, thank god (must be too much work). Lot of animals come to the camp like antilopes, velvet monkeys and the eternals baboons. Watch for the baboons, they are looking for food and they are not afraid of you. We negotiated and paid 30 cedis/person instead of 50 as there was no water at the camp. The campsite by itself is worth coming here !
Report Check-InWe loved it because it is very quiet, the sky by night is full of stars, no noise, you are in the nature 100%, clean toilets and showers (they cleaned them when we said we will stay) ,you can use the swimming pool for free in the motel and you can go to the point of view. We were lucky and we saw elephants everyday we were in this place.we stayed 3 nights.
30 cedis pp/night (all the prices in picture).
It is 70 cedi to enter the reserve (1 van +1 person). Campsite now has a functional shower and toilet. The grounds are full of rocks and branches and it is not very level. There are a couple of benches under new roofs but the viewing platform is unsafe and falling apart. Barely any shade in dry season.
Spent most of my time at the motel, order food early, good portions, cold drinks, but pool is 50cedi for day visitors.
Game walks and drives available.
great Safari, very cheap!
We asked them if we can park our truck at the parking place during the night and to sleep inside. It was no problem and we were able to stand there for free.
Tired is an understatement...the campsite is pretty much a wreck, but a great place to camp in a beautiful location...apparently with elephants in camp just before I arrived. Free now charged for use of hotel pool.
