Description

Beautiful place at a small lake surrounded by rainforest and palm trees. They rent basic tents around the lake where you can also find the restaurant and bar area. There is a place more up hill (without a view over the lake) for people who bring their own tent or rooftoptent. Ablutions aren't working properly, no running water in the shower, it's not well maintained.
There are some powerpoints but there is only electricity when they run the generator.
They offer different hikes, mountain biking and a spice tour. Can be busy with groups.
$20,- p.p.p.n. is in our opinion to much for the facilities they offer.

Latest Check-Ins

We have mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand the location is incredible, with a beautiful lake surrounded by semi-tropical forest and the drive there is fantastic. The restaurant and bar area are nicely set up and they are building very tasteful cabins overlooking the lake. But our experience as an overlander was not great. The abblution block was recently painted but the insides were still in poor condition with no water pressure and cold showers. There was a party on Friday night with a lot of noise and the day after there was a teambuilding 'conference' with 30 people on the small field where we were camping. When we arrived we thought we'd stay for a few nights and do some hikes, but we left after just one. $20ppn is way too high in our opinion.
