Our favourite road in Romania. Stunning drive, almost no traffic compared to more famous Transfagarasan. South of Obârşia Lotrului very good paved road, to the north some parts were still gravel (2014), but worth it.
Extremely picturesque, great to drive, many options to wild camp - almost anywhere by the road, just take your pick.
