This place has no fence but is private. The owner just showed up when we pitched our tent and made a fire pit. Fire is not allowed and we should have asked first permission to camp. This time it was oke. Please check in the village where the men lives and ask permission to be polite to the environment.
Report Check-InGiant space for any number of tents, campervan or rigs of any size.
No need to go that further away the main road to camp.
Lots of sheep and cows, so you have to be aware of your food and trash.
No shelter for the rain.
We couldn't use the water from the river because of the recent avalanche in Villa Santa Lucía, up the river, so there was to much mud in the water.
Awesome view and almost no one around except sheep and cows. The gravel spot is perfect for cars and campervans. Lots of grass for tents. Clean from garbage, let's keep it like this!
Report Check-InNice quiet place to spend the night . We also parked by the gravel "parking lot" on the right since it had been raining a little , good thing because it poured down that night. - no facilities
Report Check-InPerfect camping spot, two other campers here, can go down to the river, the grass is idyllic and we had a lovely warm night here, although the mozzies are out in force! The sheep did a little migration along the field in the morning.
Report Check-InNothing more to add, nice quiet place in nature and surounded by cows and sheeps.
Report Check-InStayed here one night in our campervan, very beautiful views. We actually stayed in large, flat gravel area off to the right side of the road across from the green pasture. It had been raining for several days and we weren't too sure about how solid the green ground would be. No issues on the gravel and it seemed others had the same idea in the past. Also, we parked right near the tree line so we got some break from the wind (though it wasn't bad today). Same great views as the pasture. Had a few farmers walk by and they all just smiled and waved. Great spot for the night.
Report Check-InVery nice meadow with cows and sheep around and a fantastic view of the mountain. We asked some person passing by if we could stay and she said that it's OK as this place is apparently not owned by anybody. So we stayed for the night.
Report Check-InNice place very quiet with perfect view on the cerro. Far from the main road, visible from the smaller road but no traffic. sheeps in the morning and beautiful sunrise!
