Easy border

RoC -> Cameroon took maybe half an hour in total. nothing to pay at all and the people know how to handle CdP and eVisa. We didn't get a visa sticker but were told the eVisa is fine.
The joint border post is not in operation yet but looks completed.

Report Check-In

In five minutes stamped passport and customs carnet passage .

Report Check-In

Easy check out, no problems, they said that they can issue the sticker if you are planning to enter Cameroon from here, we travelled for 40 days in Cameroon without a sticker just the printed e-visa.

Douane said that our passavant needs to have also the exit city of Ntam, since we didn’t have they issued a new one to exit from here for us, and for free.

Note that soon the borders will be a joint border since the offices are already build and the space is ready ( starting December 2023 ) they said.

Cheers

but Douanes still close might be open exactly at 7..

Report Check-In

Easy and fast border. No problem for the immigration stamp even without an entry stamp on the territory. Officers don't ask for anything and quickly fill out the CPD. The road is excellent.

Report Check-In

Easy crossing. No extra permits ask. I guess is officially open now. They even stamped me out without having an entry stamp. The boarder in Banyo refused me to stamp me in. They knew how to handle the Carnet

Report Check-In

Not busy as border is still officially closed. You will need a prove of negative Covid test to get into Congo (lateral flow) we did ours in Yaoundé by the hospital police school. But it looked like you could do it at the border, the lady from the sanitary health booth had some. She asked for a fee to check paperwork, I did pay as it was not official.

Report Check-In

Easy border. Quick procedure... got stamped my CDP here. The road to the Congolese border muddy during rain but doable even with a heavy bike.

Report Check-In

Don't enter here from Congo if you don't have carnet de passage. Seriously. We had carnet but wanted to get passavant. We lost 2 hours because of totally incompetent chief of customs. They have passavant forms, thay are using them for locals, if you enter in Banyo you can exit here with passavant without problem. But you can't enter without carnet.
Other optiom for us was to take escort to a city which is 300 km from here not even in direction of Jaunde, get passavant there and then proceed. Don't ask why they figured out this stupid solution...
He didn't want bribe. He is just incompetent man who is in charge and has power. Finally we had to use carnet and he didn't even know how to use carnet and we had to help him...

P.S. Next point on ioverlander "customs" around 80 km from here, officer was surprised that we didn't get passavant and he said he can write it for us without problems. So use this argument if you need.

Easy border, friendly officers.
Took 30 min for our 5 passports and CPD to get stamped.
Extremely sort vehicle inspection (one eye dropped inside)
Funny signs for french readers: "emmigration" instead of "immigration" or "annexxe" instead of "annexe"
