Checking in again cause I forgot to post the pictures..

Report Check-In

Nice camp spots some trash at the ones farther in though. We heard the coyotes at night :) there were fire pits, ours already had some firewood next to it. We had no problems here but saw this sign on our way out. Weird rule about car camping on it… wasn’t super clear what it meant. It says you can car camp but there’s an exception to the rule. I’m guessing they don’t bother people unless they’re trashing the place or having a huge fire or something.

Great spot close to the road. Easy road to get there 2wd is fine. We were there mid January and no snow. Verizon signal was weak but better nearby so it may work if careful were you park. Site was clean. Saw 2 firepits. Great spot just out of grand Canyon park entrance

Report Check-In

Great National Forest Spot. Easy road in. Several other people out here, lots of firepits and designated camp sites. Unfortunately a good amount of trash to be picked up. Beautiful sunset!

Report Check-In

Exvellent spot, lots of places to choose from, hard-packed dirt road, good for all kinds of vehicles, no high clearance needed

Report Check-In

road conditions are good. site is level, plenty of room for multiple RVs at this location.

Report Check-In

great spot(s) here on a tue/wed and I can't see another camper. most of the sites I've seen are small/tight. might have trouble finding a spot with a big rig- not sure, I didn't explore the whole area. feels quiet and safe. intermittent verzion service.

Report Check-In

quiet and beautiful. plenty of space to park and have distance from your neighbors. there were two other groups here, but there is so much space to spread out it was hardly noticeable!

Report Check-In

Spent one night here, good place. Good silence!

Report Check-In

Great spot with friendly quiet neighbors. There's a large flat circular parking area where various vans and RVs were assembled.

Report Check-In

Cell phone service isn’t that great here, I have Verizon. There isn’t a whole lot of spots for big RV’s at the beginning of the road. Only a couple spots from what I saw and they were occupied. Vans have more options here because once you get off the forest road not a whole lot of room to turn around. I recommend you get out of your vehicle and scout ahead before you pull off the service road. There was a big van that drove into my spot and came right into my camp within 5 ft of my van and woke me up to turn around, how rude! Please be respectful of others.

Great spot, ended up just pulling up to the first spot and it was still super quiet, road was dead at night.

Report Check-In

just perfect, sandy, small road, but ok for big rigs

Report Check-In

Beautiful. Level. Just off 64 about 3 miles from Grand Canyon Desert View Gate. Fire ring.

Report Check-In

We only saw one vehicle drive past us the other night but didn’t see anyone else in the area. We chose one of the many spots closer to the road though.

There was indeed a little garbage and some spots where folks didn’t properly bury their bodily waste. We heard and saw many cows and also many coyotes at night. Lots of stars!! This was a good choice for us heading into the canyon in the morning but I don’t think it would be a pleasure able experience if there were other ppl there because the sites are on top of each other, basically.

Report Check-In

As described earlier, many sites available and quite far from the road as well. Fire rings and lits of wood available.
Coyotes (?) howled like crazy a few times during the night, I choose not to be scared...LOL.
But it was quite cold to tentcamp 4th June. Couldnt have been more than 5-6 degrees celcius at night.

Report Check-In

A number of sites to choose from.
Hear some highway noise mainly cars. Pines all around.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Fantastic so far...so quiet and a couple of others pulled in...I stayed two nights at the beginning of October. Lots of camp sites, road is a bit rough but manageable at a slower speed. Free and 10 miles to the entrance of the Grand Canyon.
