Lovely chilled out place to stay. Parked our landrover with RTT underneath the palmtrees. Fantastic view of the sea from the dining area. Deserted beach which is great to walk along. Reasonable food at sensible prices.

We are 2 persons, 1 tent, no car. When we arrived the lady employee told us that we could camp for 400 Dalasi per night including breakfast, without any negotiation. That sounded good for us and we started to unpacked. After a little the manager Buba came saying that he cannot do that price, that he usually charges 300 Dalasi per person (600D total), but we can pay 400 D (7/8€) without breakfast. Thats too much for us given that the place is not kept up and we could camp just in front in the beach for free or in any other of the lodges around. We started to discussed with him saying that we will probably be eating in his place if we stay but he gets really rude and say that he doesn’t care at all if we want to stay or not. Then we decided to leave and then he changed his mind and said we can stay for 300D without breakfast.
We stayied 2 nights but we don’t recommend the place. Breakfast if not included is 190D for a small omelette with a little bread, I had to ask for butter.
I recommend to go to Nemuse Lodge, 2km away, nicer beach and lodge, very nice manager and service. They have economic rooms, not advertised, and you can camp too.
Report Check-In3 nights 1200 dalasi. Umar the restaurant man , didn't want the price further down. 15 dalasi for a big fresh bread. Gert friendly people. Nice spot, few kilometers away from Senegal. ( smugglerspath ) .
