We love this place! Had all to our own on a Saturday night after a long day at the border. Peaceful, quiet, swimming, birds, and nice showers and bathroom. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful location! Very clean showers etc. Saw a sloth! A bit busy building up to Easter. Village of Tronadora has shops etc but also free fast wifi next to the little park by the church. Loved it!

Beautiful location with nice breezes off the lake. Lots of green parrots above and you can hear the Howlers across the lake.
We felt very safe and it was pretty quiet.
Toilets and cold shower, but they were very clean and stocked.
We were charged 7,000 colones per person. (Two of us). A bit high, so we decided to stay only one night instead of two.

Very steep getting to the site. Nice location with trees for shade. Power and water available at sites. Located on a peninsula with great view of the lake. YouTube Chris and Tovah's Amazing Adventures https://youtube.com/@ChrisTovahsAmazingAdventures?si=RPavzqZsW6dYRFiP

One of the nicest places in CR for camping.
Very safe and clean. No 4x4 needed. I have a Hyundai H1 bus with roof top tent and no problem to drive down or up.

we pulled in later in the afternoon and the owner was not there but she allowed us to enter just by opening the gate. we were the only people here but it was a great quiet spot right on the lake. very breezy and temperatures dropped overnight but not unbearable. we had a 4x4 SUV with rooftop tent. we paid the overnight price as indicated in previous comment below and we left by 8:00 a.m. the next morning. if I had the chance I could stay at this campsite for a few days at least. it is so relaxing and quiet. bathroom and shower facilities were very clean.
