Something not right?

Description

National Forest boondocking. Do not come here in the spring until it dries out, you will get stuck. Can get crowded with people and sheep (when they are there)

Latest Check-Ins

Quite lot of space. Not the most beautiful spot but it's fine and legal to stay here.
Accessible with 2wd RV but I would recommend not going too far from the entrance.

Report Check-In

just like the other reviews describe. no one mentioned the cactus and goatheads that get stuck in your dogs paw and my shoes for that matter. maybe it's specific to the area I'm parked. great view. hoping to catch the comet and mid April meteor shower. couple animal carcasses laying around too. hmm

large area close to highway. pretty much like other reviews describe. no one mentioned all the cactus and goatheads that get stuck in your dogs paw. not to mention my shoes. maybe it's specific to the area I'm parked. couple animal carcasses laying around. old route 66 passes to the north of here.

Report Check-In

Meh. Fine for a quick overnight but there are way more beautiful spots to the east of here (on the way to Flagstaff). Lots of trash and toilet paper towards the front. Towards the back area was much more clean.

It was dry and did not need 4x4, but I could see where and how it could get really muddy during and after rain.

Report Check-In

As previously reported. Mostly flat dried out grass with scattered bushes and trees. There were several RVs here when I came here. Quite a bit of room. Not too much privacy. Lots of grasshoppers. My Verizon barely worked. Starlink worked well. Pretty good spot to spend a lazy day and night but otherwise not very inspirational. Further down the road is supposed to be nicer. So if you plan to stay a while go check it out.

Report Check-In

Big rig friendly spot to spend the night. Several two tracks to explore with an overland rig to find that secluded spot.

Report Check-In

Stayed there for the Independence weekend and it was just what we were looking for : quite, not too hot with some trees for the shades and a bit of cell reception (2-3 bars of Verizon).
There are many spots and the road is quite ok for everyone.
