Near Borjomi, hot bath | Wild Camping

if you drive 100 meter beyond the gps spot you get to a large field which is controlled by the bath owner. he is nice but an alcoholic. when we arrived he told us its free. later in the night he told us its 10 lari for 30 minutes in the pool. on the next morning he said staying overnight on the field coats 20 but he will give us for 10. to expensive, really griefy. the pool is not very hot, its okay but dirty. the owner loves to chat and drink wine amd vodka (i speak russian).

Indeed a very nice place to camp. There is some traffic along the dirt road but everybody passing by just waved friendly. I asked a lady passing by if it was okay to camp and she said it was fine. Quiet during the night.

We stayed next to the hot bath (GPS 41.91095N, 43.50141E) in a large field. The owner (who is also controling the bath) was very nice. Brought us house wine (ok not good 🤣) and a cucomber-tomato salad. We could have gone to the bath but dis not. When leaving we asked him how much we could pay and he said 20 GEL.

Went there for the hot bath. It is in a small shed just next to the road (about 1.5km after asphalt ends, if it rains a 4x4 might be needed). Paid 5 GEL to an old man living next to it.
Water is warm and smells of sulphur.

Near the village Akhaldaba just on the gras ... Very close is a hot spring + swimming pool for a few Laris (ask the locals) ... Nice trekking around
