Nice and quiet area and plenty of space. We met with three other big overlanding rigs and we all fit along that stretch of beach road.

several places for any kind of rig, stone beach with Mangroven, always parrots Green and Red above your head, Lokals love the place to, quite and dark at night, clean and safe, becare of the cookonut trees, good for swimming, less Wind, only a few mosqitos, sandflys and biteing ans, very good food at Brisas del Mar, we stayed 400m from the first IOv. Spot 8.644806, -83.43316 for a few nights

Not much to add, still a beautiful beach camping spot. Not sandy but small stones with easy walking, just a few sand flies but not really a problem.
We parked just 60m beyond the restaurant / bar and the music isn’t annoying at this distance.
Only some locals around, friendly safe en quiet

estuvimos en el 2018 y volvimos en el 2023, todo igual, seguro y tranquilo!
vimos lapas, ballenas y delfines.
perezosos en los árboles de atrás
en época de lluvia el mar está más sucio.

Very nice spot. We stayed 3 nights. It’s quiet and beautiful. We saw turtles, whales, dolphins, macaws. Bad signal 3G (liberty). No facilities only restaurant and laundry.

Nice free camp spot in front of the water. There are some macaws on the trees and turtle into the water.

nice spot on the bay, many spots along about 500m of beach. no open bathrooms in morning. beautiful birds everywhere. hot morning sun, mild breeze.

wonderful free camping spot, we spotted lot's of turtles in the water (no good for snorkelling water was too murky, but cool to see their heads pop out from time to time).
bar next door has good WiFi, 2$beers and if you need 500c toilet.
not too much trash but we gathered some to take with us...

Perfect place for a stop or to stay some nights, really quiet except the macaws.
restaurant next door have WC for 500c if you need.

Nice place to chill. Very quiet. If you are lucky and are in the right season (like me) you can see the whales, dolphins and turtles from the beach.
The wifi password from the bar doesn't work any more, they gave me the new one and changed it a few hours after, and I didn't abuse of the connection at all, just sent a few messages without media. Anyway the staff is very kind.
No Claro cellphone signal.

Un buen lugar para relajarse. Muy tranquilo. Si tenés suerte y estás en la temporada correcta (como yo) podés ver las ballenas, delfines y tortugas desde la playa.
La contraseña WiFi del bar no funciona más, me dieron la nueva y la cambiaron unas horas después, y eso que no abusé de la conexión en absoluto, sólo envié algunos mensajes sin multimedia.
De todos modos, el personal es muy amable.
No hay señal de celular Claro.

very nice and quiet place along the beach. it's not in the wilderness, because there is some house and few local during the day.
there is 20 ara red parrot living there and many big turtles in the water.
there is no waves, ideal for kayaking and swimming.
it's free!

Un magnifique endroit naturel encore protégé du tourisme de masse . Nous avons pu nager avec des tortues de mer . Il y a 3 types de tortues dans la baie . Une magnifique surprise de trouver facilement ces tortues à moins de 20 mètres du bord avec une mer super calme . Tout comme ce village tranquille et paisible . Un spot non « pouristique» ;) pourvu que ça dure...

Great spot, few mossies around at dawn/dusk. Water is shallow, still and very warm for swimming. Friendly bar for beers. People were eating there but we didn't try the food. Lots of macaws around.

Beautiful spot to camp right on a swimming beach. FREE. Super calm water, barely any waves. Since the GPS waypoint is in front of a small restaurant/bar, we drove down the beach to a grassy park with plenty of trees and a wider, sandier beach. I don't think many tourists come this way so locals are friendly and don't mind you camping. A few quiet families around but everyone left by 6 and we had the place to ourselves. Just have a look around and pick your favorite spot. Beware of grass however since it gets super soggy during rain. We found a bed of gravel and our awning saved us from the rain. Also beware of falling coconuts. Otherwise enjoy!

Perfect place to stay. We asked at the restaurant, if it's possible to park and it was no problem😊 calm water good bar for having a drink.

We did not sleep here. Just stopped for lunch. But what a lunch break. Very calm water for swimming and we shared the water with a least 5 big sea turtles. We quessed from pictures in our guide book - green sea turtles. For more than an hour we swam very close to these beautiful creatures. A wonderful experience - all for free.

Not really wild place but very quiet, We staid here 2 nights. Swimming here it's great expérience, hot water, no waves very very quiet. The local people friendly, They just said hello good appetite. Let's us staying without problem.

Après 1 km de piste facile, en bord de plage et à l'ombre. Endroit très calme. Accessible en camping-car. Pas de wifi. Endroit parfait pour le camping sauvage, Rien à espérer de plus ! Les Ara sont ici par dizaines, les perruches aussi !
