Something not right?

Description

10,000 CFA for basic room. VERY NICE even by Western standards. We didn't stay... wish we did but wasted afternoon looking for fuel instead. Place stood out that much we thought it worthwhile pulling up and pinning for iOverlander :)

Amazing to find hotel like this after coming from Luozi, DRC. A beautiful garden, that stretches towards a little river in the back. Very decent rooms for 10.000, cold beer 600 and restaurant has food from 2000. Recommended!

15k local currency, that is. Will try to edit later on.

Place is really nice, yes, but it looks as though it hasn't had any guests in years. From what the newly appointed guy taking care of it, the owner had some political problems.

Big downside, NO WATER, NO ELECTRICITY, NO COLD BEER.

I was exhausted after the Luozi - Boko road and just wanted to relax and not to worry about the rain. He asked 50k, I bargained down to 10k and he accepted payment in euro, as I did not get a chance to exchange money.

I asked for a beer and the guy brought me one from the dusty stash. Did not have an expiration date on it.
