Picknickspot in the middle of Abastumani Resort. Camping was difficult due to very wet weather, so this was where we ended up camping. We got company from horses at night. Camping on this side within the Borjomi-Kharagauli NP very difficult.

UPDATE: this place is now a construction site. There’s some place to camp left, but not really the best place to be now.
Along the river there are still a few picknickplaces.
Observatory will soon be completely renovated!
stayed a bit further along the asphalt road by a picnic gazebo. Got below freezing at night in november but there is a fire pit with wood leftover. lovely spot
