Wildspot Sno Valley | Wild Camping

Place is a “parking lot” now as since August, the road to Juta is officially closed starting at the bridge, which means that only taxis and locals can pass (parts of the street are falling apart and down the hill).
You can take a taxi from there to juta, which is heavily overpriced (40-50 lari) or you can walk the 4km. Taxis can be called by the guesthouses in juta.
The old guy who had the parking in Juta before, claims to own the new “parking” and is charging 10 Lari per day which we considered to be heavily overpriced, too, plus it’s questionable if he’s really owning the place or just scamming.
When we discussed the legality of his charge with him, he got verbally and physically aggressive, was threatening us and throwing a shoe at us (which seems to be a common behavior for him, see all the negative comments for his parking in juta on googlemaps). In the end we left without paying.

Six years after contributing this spot to iOverlander we are back. Same lovely spot, different car & season ànd now in the company of other overlanders 😊.

Small side valley off Sno Valley.
Nice flat area but has steep sides so loses the sun quite early in the evening.
There was a shepherd in a truck there when we stayed but no problems with him at all.

Very nice place indeed. No trash around and beautiful views. We have met some other travelers at this spot.

Good spot, very quiet. Beware of shepherd dogs, do not let your own dog run free!

Best spot int the Sno valley!. Locals use it for picnic too sometimes ... but deserted at night.

Great spot in side valley next to the road to Juta. Close to the river, quiet place.
