Description

In the nice but rather tiny yard of Posada Los Pinos. Parked on the lawn across from the parking (on the parking itself it’s not so great, but possible). Safe, quiet at night, small, fresh pool with little slide for kids, clean cold showers and bathrooms, very good dinner at restaurant (around USD 7), fast wifi, water, electricity. 20min walk from town centre. German owner Eric has his own travel agency organising Roraima trips (around USD 200/five days) on which I ended up with a crappy rented sleeping bag. I stayed there for weeks when I was ill and was very glad to have a peaceful, quiet safe haven. Paid around USD 4/night.
Big rigs: Erm... that depends on how much space there is when you show up. I'd say it's not ideal.
Tents: Should be no problem, but I'd say it's not ideal.
