Description

Having arrived at the border (coming from Brazil) on friday afternoon I had to wait until monday to buy insurance, so I stayed right here underneath the corrugated iron roof. Quiet most of the time, if they weren't just unloading a truck right next door. Dusty or muddy, demepnding on the season. Safe, free, showers and bathrooms next to immigration. 15min walk into town. Can walk or drive around in town without insurance but not further into Guyana. Fill up all tanks bewfore heading towards Georgetown. Next petrol at "88 miles" (name of truck stop, 88 miles from Georgetown).
