Something not right?

Description

Only KTM motorcycle store between Spain and South Africa. Gave my 1190 adventure a 15,000km service for a reasonable 103,000CFA. For sure they would service other big bikes and also have spare tyres for big bikes.

They also let me store my bike here for a month while I went back to Europe. Very friendly people, a Swiss guy running the shop. Son of owner Togolese/German guy works here too who speaks good English.
They are also a heavy diesel mechanics shop working on big trucks and other 4x4s. Secure compound. All round great place to get repairs done!

Toni doesn't work here anymore. I wanted a repair on my (BMW GS) front forks, but was not possible to do it here. Tom, friendly guy who works there, referred me to another mechanic, who did a fabulous job (see review Garage moto Denis garage in the North West of Lomé).

Went to check it out as we heard a recommendation for this place for cars as well, and said they don’t work on cars.

Nice clean workshop, they let me do a oilchange here for 10k cfa, looks like they have all the special tools for KTMs, perfect for engine troubles.

Unfortunately they didn't have anything in Stock, no oil etc.
Aparently the owner was in Switzerland at the time organising a new shipment of oil and parts.
Lots of enduro tires.

All good here. Very experienced guys.
Probably the best in the region for service bikes, 4x4 and trucks.

The only high quality garage I have found since I left Spain, they are really good mechanics, delicate and very professional, they have spare parts and a lot of tires for the bike, TKC 80 and so on, they fix all kind of bikes and brands, very friendly people. Highly recommended!

Went here to get a few spares (rectifier, battery, chain lube) and to get a diagnosis on an electrical issue I've had since Gabon, which has been fixed then not several times now. I got the spares, but was told the electrical issue is one for the too hard basket...

There is also a KTM dealership/workshop in Libreville (Deleur there is excellent) and Windhoek.

Just by the by, there are also Yamaha workshops in Pointe Noire, Douala and Lagos.

Very modern garage for bikes and camions. We had the clutch replaced in our Land Cruiser, but it was a very negative experience. Would not recommend for 4X4.

Location is correct. Although its not obvious. Look up and you should see some blue glass windows on a white/cream building. This is it. There is a blue pedestrian gate which has Toni Togi stencilled on it. And another bigger blue gate for vehicles.

Great place to work on the bike. As wanted said before. I worked on my bike on the simple stuff largely with my tools and they helped when I needed it to do the actual mechanics.

Was there most of the day. They charged me 35,000 CFA which included a can of chain lube at 10k and nearly 3 litres of high quality oil. Personally I thought it should have been more. But I won't argue too much!

They had continental in stock. TCK80s as well as other brands. Not my size sadly. They get from Europe. They have KTM clothing too. Gloves, protective gear, alpinestars boots. They have contacts in town that can source parts too. I asked about Africa Twin parts for a friend and they said its possible for second hand parts.

The fluent English speaking Togo/German guy gave me his phone number to post here. Emails don't always reach the shop.

I also asked about 4x4s too for a couple I met. They said they'd help. But naturally it's mainly bikes. In the compound they are doing trucks and big rigs as well as cars.

My recommendation is to try them. At the minimum its a clean and safe place to work on your vehicle. Behind closed doors too so you can work in peace
