We didn't camp on the beach as it was exposed to a strong wind, but further up the hill.
It looks like the area is used for piling up large amounts of gravel for construction. We camped between some of these pipes which completely hid us from the road and Afghanistan, gave us shelter from the wind, and some shade in the morning. Not very scenic though.
No one saw us or bothered us at all.
Report Check-InUp the hill were some military. They asked us if we needed a place to stay. They actually suggested us to stand on the plateau near the river. Awesome spot. Lots of places to choose from.
Report Check-InWe were also sent away from the spot. We found a very nice alternative about 11 km up the road towards Kalai Chumb, at a river a bit away from the border.
Report Check-InMilitary came by to ask us to turn down music but we were allowed to camp. No services, but large space. Hard to get tent pegs in gravel ground. River fast flowing.
