Take track down to the riverbank before reaching the check point. (South of checkpoint). spot is located south-east from the street. Clear running water. No disturbance. Some locals crossing by feet. Nice and peaceful place for staying and relaxing.

We could not find the place mentioned 900 meters after this spot, but found another a little before (27.540524, 85.120186). This way you get away from the main road.
Only for small vehicles (we have a Landrover) with 4x4. For 2x2 and bigger vans the marked spot near the main road will be better.
The small dirt road is not almost unused as others has mentioned. Today buses and trucks use the road. Not a lot during the night but still some noise. Nobody bothered us though, and it was still the most quiet place we have slept for a while (coming from India).
Report Check-InOriginal spot is near the road and not so quiet when we arrived, so we followed this track another 900m up the valley (27.541645, 85.123451). Out of sight and no noise from the main road at all there. Most silent spot in a long time actually (coming from India). Just crickets, birds and some monkeys. Stayed two nights and just one friendly truck passed a few times.
No water here this time of year unfortunately, but looks like what could be decent bathing pools at wetter times of the year.
