Description
The lodge lies in a valley at 2525 meters, between the Moteng pass (2840m) and the Mahlasela pass (3220m). The campsite is a grassy area between the river and the road (not too much traffic though). Power at the ablution block from 5pm to 11am. Camping price is 70 Rand pppn. Camping only from October till May. The road from Botha Bothe is paved.
Trout fishing in the river in summer, hiking and horse riding is also possible. There is also a ski slope 15 km away (Afri-ski).

Nice camp for one night. Ablutions are clean. Inside the lodge you can chill in an area in front the river and the little waterfall. It’s 100Rppn
Report Check-InCamping only from oktober till may due to the weather. Busy place now with guests for the nearby skiresort.
Report Check-InStill open. Not much to do because the river was too high, but the staff cleaned the bathroom for us when we arrived. Good for a 1 night stop over. Shower did not get hot, but could be due to being turned off due to lack of people due to Covid.
Report Check-InVery quiet considering the location near the road. Nice river on the other side. Ablutions modest but super clean. Soap and towels supplied. Power only in the kitchen. Lodge has good public areas and bar. Staff helpful. No rubbish bin on campsite. Paid 95zar pppn.

Report Check-InThe glorious Days of the Lodge are over. However the Campsite directly at the Road (almost no Traffic) is good for staying one Night. Although really high in the Mountains there are no Views. Ablutions okay. Still 70 ZAR pppn.
