Description

Sweet little village (only a few houses) including small beautiful sandy beach, perfect for swimming, very nice locals around, had wonderful fish and Camerones directly at fishermen‘s place, you can bring your own drinks because they don’t sell any drinks, it’s not really a restaurant, more a private place, food was fantastic and cheap. Same owner allowed us to stay overnight in his parking for free. Basic clean toilet. No shower but you can use the hose of the family at fishermen’s place after swimming. All locals do so. Not much space in the parking and most not level, but on top of the parking there are two spots more or less level. Very steep to get there but perfect view from there over the village and the sea, really narrow and rough rocky entrance to the parking and you need high clearance, we are 6 m long and it was not easy but there are also a few spots available outside the parking. Many locals on the beach on Sunday, on Monday it was quiet. Last 4 km street are really rough gravel road, but locals use it with normal cars too. Light Claro signal. It was our first night after crossing the border coming from El Salvador, it‘s only one hour drive from the border and we loved that place.

we came here with the intention of sleeping here, indeed people here is very nice, but the beach is not great, we personally didn't like it for swimming, and there is not a good spot to sleep here so we decide to go to Terra-Mar restaurant to park and sleep there, best thing we have done! nice place, flat parking lot with a swimming pool and a really great view!
