Description

This hostel is run by an Egyptian called Ahmed. It is on the Westbank of the Nile, almost opposite of the Luxor temple.
It has some rather run down huts, a nice veranda with a ven and European toilet and shower. All in an acceptable condition. Camping in a car with rooftent or in a small truck is possible.
Ahmed was very nice and helpful in the beginning but in the end he tried to rip us of. He wanted to have much more money than we had discussed and he got really angry, even insulting.

Latest Check-Ins

We stayed here for two nights in our vehicle. We hadn't seen the review the above but found his place online.
We had a lovely stay. We paid 130 LE per night. Clean bathrooms, hot water. Ahmed was very helpful and friendly. He cooked us a great dinner after we arrived late at night. Hearty breakfasts every morning - omelettes, smoothies etc. We rented bicycles from him to see the sights. No extra taxes. There is a place to camp if you have a tent. There are also rooms. Campfire too!
