What a great spot to hang out for a few days despite the fact that the showers and toilets are not “new”anymore and don’t seem to get cleaned very often either. The toilets do not have a seat and while we were there there was generally only 1 of the 6 that was unlocked for use.
The showers are cold but that was ok given the hot temperatures while we visited.
The cost was 80 pesos / person which we thought was very reasonable. The hotel next door has a great palapa style restaurant where you can pay 15 pesos per hour for very weak wifi. You won’t be able to download any Netflix but you can certainly send an email or two if you need to.
There’s plenty of purified water available to purchase at the restaurant and also at a few of the tiendas in town. There’s not much in the way of fresh fruit and veg in town ( at least not when we visited) so be sure to stock up before you arrive. A young girl came by selling papayas and the paletta car comes through once a day as well!
Oir Campervan didn’t fit under the Ramada but the owner was ok with us parking sideways instead which allowed our sliding door to open facing the ocean. Bonus! Surfboards and boogie boards are available to rent here as well. Hammocks for perfectly under the Ramada too!

Other accounts accurate, except the current price for a camping palapa is 100 pesos per person per night. Way off the beaten track. Friendly people. No English spoken

Would never return again. Every one around us was sleeping at 10 pm but the owner (who lives there at the beach) was listening very loud music right next to us (the music speaker far away from where he was sitting). As I asked him if he could turn down the music (or move the speakers) he almost shouted at me that it's his property and he would do here what he wants to do and that we aren't allowed to say anything. I've never met such an unfriendly person.

Price seems to vary, we got told 70 pesos p/p but worth parking under a palapa and chill. Nice to have a good outdoor shower and pressure was really good. Tiny bathroom and a place to do handwashing and dishes. Overall quiet and nice but we definitely had mosquitos. We got visited by a turtle and we shared a meal together!

wicked little surf town 50p a night. restaurant has wifi, okay speed. great spot to watch the sunset. we had zero problems with bugs

Really cool beautiful spot, but really dirty. The guy running things was super friendly and it was cheap (60 pesos pp with electric) so it wasn't a huge deal but it was pretty rugged. Kind of a bummer because the property itself is great and they could have a really good thing going if minimal effort went into keeping it clean. Power is only set up for 2 prongs so unless you have an adapter it could be an issue.

50 pesos a person, comes with palapa shade. Great surf, one of the best places in mainland that picks up NW swell. Cool surfer vibe.

A camping spot on a beach that has great surf. It was still a little stormy when we stayed here but we had a great time walking up and down the beach before heading into town later that night for some great tacos.
