Description
Ocean Pearl Beach Lodge opened in Dec 2022 and provides great camping facilities. A grassy spot amidst the palms with brand new ablutions (hot showers!), fast wifi and power points. There is also a restaurant, pool and laundry service available. The friendliness of the owner and staff was out of this world. They were so nice and helped us with anything that was needed. You can also arrange boat trips to Bazaruto and water activities here.
Our stay at Ocean Pearl was really great. Absolutely recommend this place to camp in Vilankulo!

It was an amazing place, beautiful campsite, good Wifi, big TV for football games, great and helpfull hosts. We enjoyed it very much. And the private toilets with towels, never saw this on a campsite.
Report Check-InThe campsite is great, private bathroom with towels. The staff is super friendly, the swimming pool is wonderfully cool and the restaurant is good. You can have the laundry done, 1 machine costs 300 Metc. We stayed 3 nights and took a boat trip to the Bazaroto National Park from the lodge. It was very well organized and the lunch was absolutely great, large shrimps and fish from the BBQ with lettuce, fried rice and fruit. The reef, 2 miles reef, was beautiful for snorkling and the humpback dolphins also showed up. The 695 per person per night for the campsite is well worth it.
Report Check-InLovely grass to camp on, ablutions nice and new and they provided 2 towels. No hooks to hang clithing so take a chair. Laundry when asked was 100MZN and later R100 which is too expensive for a bundle.
No seaview at campsites but not far to the beach. Nice and quiet. Be aware of the coconuts as mentioned. Price was 695MZN pppn. Close to airport but not disturbing.

The previous post which says the price is 695Mets for 2 people plus a vehicle was a special the Ocean Pearl we running for a brief period.
We didn’t end up staying but this is a a very nice spot!
Pleasant, clean campsite with swimming pool but no private beach.
Day trips to the sea with meals and snorkeling are available for 6000 met per person (varies slightly depending on options chosen).
695 met for two people to camp with the van in the lawn.
Watch out for the coconut trees! A coconut smashed our front windshield in a squall during the night!
We loved it and want to share that the price is 695mets per person per night.

Lovely place. Campsite lawn is small but great for cosy atmosphere and meeting the neighbours. Good ablution, electricity and ablution.
Campsite lights are bright, 2 from the big house and 1 on the ground. It disturbed my sleep a little. Wifi is the best! Pool very clean. Restaurant is okay; not the best.
If you want to watch rugby, football, F1; amazing spot.
Staff is amazing and the boat trip to Bazaruto highly recommended. Same price as elsewhere, but felt we had better and nicer captain than others.
Report Check-InBeautiful camping lawn with clean ablutions, awesome hot water showers. Access to nice walks on clean sandy beach. Also pleasant walk into town (2 km). Laundry service available -100 rand for a large basket. Wifi some of the strongest we have found in Mozambique, additional wifi antennae right in the camping area, or you can go to the covered restaurant. 695 met for two people and camper per night.

The restaurant staff,in particular, are so kind they work so hard and are always friendly, definitely try the delicious pizza! They offer laundry services for r100 per basket. I would also recommend taking the Santa Carolina boat/snorkel day trip with Ocean Beach whilst you stay. Cheaper from here than other places and the skipper was so knowledgeable and also amazingly careful of the coral reefs (unlike other boats).
Honestly such a lovely stay and very relaxing. The campsite itself is still being set up which is why they don’t charge much for it and I would recommend setting up near the ablutions as the security lights are bright in other spots.
