mucho espacio pero estaba lleno... mucha gente acampando. llegué a las 21.30 hrs. gente con música y mini fiesta hasta tarde.

Very nice, lots of space, families, easy to get into the river. In the evening there was some music but not too bad. Keep an eye on where you set up your tent. Very clean, beautiful grass spaces.

Really nice spot ! I spent 4 nights here waiting good weather to go to cochamo Valley. Good place even if it's raining a lot. Prefer the grassy aera. Good claro 4G.

Pebble area down the bridge over the Puelo river. Lots of places to park, either on gravel or grass. Local fishermen and boaters around until dark. Not the most scenic spot but it served its purpose for the night. Beautiful sunsets and starry nights though!

Very nice spot near the river. Easily accessible and plenty of space. Some locals chilling and fishing.

Amazing spot since 2015. One of the nicest of the Carretera Austral that are 100% free to stay, locals rent kayaks if you want. Amazing fishing, sunny days and possible to bath in the river. Watch out where you park because the river overflows every 4 hours! In winter time the spot doesn’t exist at all because of the currents and overflow.

The nicest and most quiet place, We stayed on a week day though. You have plenty of space to park and walk around. Really clean and safe.

Very nice big area with many spots to camp, bushes and trees, place to make fire. We spent 4 nights here. You can cross the river a little bit and there are even more grassy areas away from the bridge. The person who runs the boat trips told us in summer it gets crowded but off season it’s really peaceful. There is a little tide so make sure to sleep on the grassy areas a little bit up and away from the river. One of the prettiest and nicest places to sleep on the way to Hornopiren (1:30-2hrs away).

Just the perfect place to stay for a couple of days! Locals come here for fishing or to enjoy the river. The area is huge so it didn't feel crowded. According to your vehicle you can drive further down to the beach or stay sheltered between the trees!

excelente lugar para estacionar bajo elmpuente río puelo, a orillas del río, se.puede pescar y bañarse, lugar muy tranquilo y super amplio para muchos vehículos, y carpas.
lo mejor es gratis.
hay 2 boleros que llevan a paseo río arriba, 25.000 el paseo de 1 hora aprox. también llevan a pescar

Very safe space, a lot of families spending the night. fishing spot from locals. even a little bathroom in between the trees. stayed three nights.

Excelente lugar para camping, o motor home para pasar la noche, muy tranquilo a orillas del río Puelo, hay áreas con pasto, al costado del puente, puedes pescar incluso. 100% recomendado y gratis.

Excelente lugar para acampar y dejar estacionado tu auto, amplios espacios para instalar carpa.

Gate locked with brand new chain and padlock. Pedestrian access still posible.

Confirmed at Puelo Tourist Info that this area is a private property and they don’t know if it will be available for free use again.

RV Sprinter Van 7.0. Lugar muito aconchegante embaixo da ponte do Rio Puelo. Muitos "sítios" para parar e o mais importante, sem muita descaída. Passamos a noite tranquila sem nenhum movimento. Recomendo aos amigos viajantes.

Good free location for camp. Not so clean, but you can always pick a bag and carry some trash with you.

Plenty of places to choose from. Some more hidden than others. Plenty of firewood. Clear water in river. Easy drive. No problem in our 2x4 Sprinter.

Amazing spot! Coming from the south take the dirt road on your left just before the bridge and choose a spot! A little boat noise in the morning, but not too bad...
