Description
Resort in the middle of Lake Bigi Pan. Full board trips from Nickerie for 24 or 48 hours include transport, boat trips, meals, (non-alcoholic) drinks and accommodation. Not cheap: €85 per person for 24 hours, €150 for 48 hours. It is a superb place for birding. I don't think we saw more birds together anywhere, including lots of red ibises. Possibility to charge electronics, otherwise no electricity. Parking next to the landing out of sight of the main road, but not guarded or fenced. Safe according to locals.
