A Custom Broker is only in some cases necessary (see comments)!
Lots of them located in the building.

Opposite getting some stamps on it.
Go up 1st floor to room 204 or some other brokers. They will declare everything and organize the handling.

Most people there speaks English.
Friendly staff and service.

ATM and bank counter and food counter available there.

DHL office nearby located 1km before cargo terminal. They offer also the custom clearance (50.000Dram for Air-shipments).

We went directly to the terminal and got the service right there.

Very straightforward process:
We learned today: you only need to pay import taxes when you are an Armenian resident and have an Armenian tax number. As a foreigner you just pay some fees. In our case it was 60€for a motorbike engine and some other spares.
NO BROKER NEEDED because you don’t do any taxes! A broker is around 120€, but with no Armenian residence you don’t need it.
Start as described in the right corner after the wing doors to get your papers.
Then go to first floor room 216. Chose left counter „diplomatic cargo“ as all others are for importing cars.
Officials are very friendly, speak enough English and guide you through the process (next is room 229, then back to 216, then pay, back downstairs left side, then right side, left side again and into the cargo hall to get your delivery.
Waiting for your turn to pay the fee is the worst part, but there is a bistro with good food and 3 ATMs.
Without the waiting time for payment it took us maybe 1,5hrs in total to get the engine out of customs.
There are cars and vans waiting outside to drive you and your cargo wherever you need. :-)
More modern than customs in Europe: less papers due to QR codes. Fun day to learn: customs can be done easily!
