Latest Check-Ins

We stayed at Kamsholo for two evenings. It is a pretty simple campsite. As it is one of the “Big Game Parks” it also had a per night conservation fee which goes towards upkeep and conservation efforts. The campsite could accommodate our big rig and had a good braai stand with an electric plug-in point. No water plug-in at campsite, and the main concern was the large thorns. It did not seem to penetrate the tyres, but would recommend watching where you walk and if you have kids – don’t let them run around 😊
The ablutions were clean and there was a wash-up area next to the traditional styled guest “beehives”. We took a safari drive – the guide was knowledgeable – no predators, we saw impala (as always) waterbuck, Nyala, giraffes, and some warthogs. There is a restaurant and a bar as well as a curio shop. Good for a stop-over for a night or two. The main road is a bit close so you can hear a truck pass by, but not too loud to disturb us.

Report Check-In

Campsite now under construction. Did camp next to the beehives.

They are also building a Brandnew Birdhide which looks good.

At the moment they don’t accept the wildcard because they can’t claim it back at sanparks.

Camping is 135 pP, Conservation Fee 45 for Adults

Report Check-In

Nisela Safaris got taken over from Big Game Parks, camping will be not possible for now. Only chalets and self catering units.

Day visits possible, conservation fee 45 E. But don’t expect much game.

Camping Is now 110 pppn.
Good for one night, but definitely not really longer

Report Check-In

Same as was informed discount for seniors 154R p2ppn

Report Check-In

Campsite has no grass but lapa. Electricity at site.
Reception area looks luxurous.
Free wifi for 15 minutes!! After that you have to buy but is expensive.
One lonely Zebra, 100 rabbits and guiney-pigs in a sort of a mini-zoo. To bad!!
Price is still R100 pp.

Report Check-In

Campsite is a bit disappointing in comparison to the rest of the complex. Right by road so expect heavy traffic noise. Good ablutions though and they provide lots of fire wood. Close to border. Fine for a night. E100 pppn.
