Report Check-In

nice park, boat dock, small village, some garbage out on peninsula, over all decent place to overnight.

The Olivia Haterius Park is a wonderful city park in Olivia right on the Bay. A wonderful flat parking area right on the bay. FREE and allowed to stay 5 days. There is a boat ramp perfect for launching kayaks, play ground, and covered picnic tables. Peaceful and beautiful.

Report Check-In

As described. There were 2 other groups that stayed overnight otherwise just fisherman here and there. Very peaceful and pretty protected even in a storm.

quiet, clean, spacious, secluded parking area by the water. maximum overnight stay of 5 nights allowed. had no trouble finding a space and was not bothered by other campers.

Remote location with a small park, boat ramp and max 5 day free camping. I was mostly alone but a few fisherman and bird people came and went. I stayed out on the peninsula. Tide does come up past the rocks. Trash bins but people still leave garbage. Verizon LTE good

We drove through but did not stay since we had to go to a grocery store for some essential items. It looks great, there were no campers here in the late afternoon. Small and on the bay. We ended up at Magnolia Beach but I would have preferred to stay here for the isolation and wind protection but Magnolia Bay was great but cold and windy right on the beach.

Wonderful spot. The main lot and park are clean with lots of trashcans and some covered picnic tables. There is moderate traffic even in winter, mostly fishermen but we had a few vans camping out with us. There is a gravel road opposite the main entrance down to a low peninsula which sits surrounded by water. You could probably fit an RV or two down there but lots of people coming and going to check out the view.

Notre deuxième visites ici il ont agrandi le stationnement. C’est très beau et très propre.

We drove out to the point as recommended by another reviewer. Lots of various birds. Fishing was slow due to a very low tide but we gathered that it can be quite good off of the point. We encountered some local fisherman who like so often in Texas, left all of there trash behind, which we cleaned up for them. Good for a night.

This is a cute little park right on the bay. My daughter enjoyed the playground and swings. There were no other campers but the boat launch was very busy from dawn to dusk. Many fishermen in the mornings and a few stray dogs hovering around. Free!

Stayed here with no issues. Nice spot on the water. Playground. Picnic tables dog friendly.
Quiet and felt save.

Report Check-In

Stayed here on a Friday night. Could hear vehicles coming and going all night. Around 5-ish a truck parked right next us and idled very loudly for quiet a while. When it was light we saw that 9 trucks with boat trailers had arrived during the night or very early morning.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night, very pleasant. We stopped down beyond the slipway.
There was a bit of trash around which we picked up to save the travelling communities reputation, then a couple of locals turned up, spent the evening fishing, and then left their crap behind before driving off. We cleared that as well!!
We met a couple of other locals who were very nice .
Overall a good stopover.

One of my favorite places to date! Parked on the point (28.63604, -96.45906), and stayed for two nights. I was alone the first night and met a friendly couple the second one. Wonderful silence. Saw many pelicans and a few dolphins (I think). Moon was full and beautiful. Police came to ask questions about wood poles that have been stolen. Later noticed somebody used them to make a fire... That's because of things like that that we lose good spots like this one, please don't do that...
